    The primary responsibility of a school social worker is to participate as part of a multi-disciplinary team to determine if students are eligible for special education and related services. We meet with parents to complete social assessments as part of the comprehensive Child Study Team evaluation.  Other responsibilities include:
         
    Case Management;  Community Liaison /Outreach; Host Parent Programs;  Newsletter;  Consult and collaborate with Teachers and Parents;  Counseling as a related service included in the child's IEP.
